It’s been a long time in the making, but my new novel is finally published. This book is a slight departure from my other books in that it’s science fiction. I still have a hard time thinking of myself as a science fiction author. To me, this book is a time travel mystery-historical romance-literary novel-fantasy-psychological story (you know, everything thrown in but the kitchen sink).
Inherit the Past is set in Bavaria and begins in the year 2009 in the fictitious town of Riesen–which is in a valley that was created by the violent collision of a meteorite some fifteen million years ago–this part is true! It seemed like a good location for a time travel story. The story takes the characters and readers into the late eighteenth century.
